Denim Sewing Challenge Bucket Hat

Take the class, do the homework, return with your finished shirt and receive a unique one-of-a-kind enamel Denim Pin!
In this class Students will learn to measure their head for a proper fit and the parts of a hat. Students will learn how to adjust the hat pattern to make it uniquely original. Students will learn how to sew a lining and use stitching to reinforce structure.
PREWORK: Prewashing fabric is recommended for all wearables. Students should call the store to arrange for early kit pick up so prewashing and pressing fabric can be done in advance.
Not all Students will be able to complete this project in class and may have additional sewing tasks to be completed at home. If you find yourself struggling with construction after class, you may take this class again or attend a Denim Sit and Sew.

| Skill Details: | Ages 15+ Must know how to operate a sewing machine without assistance and general sewing terminology. If you are new to sewing machines, you must take Intro to Sewing first. Must have a working knowledge of how to construct garments from a pattern. If you are new to garment sewing, start with the Intro to Garment Sewing series. |

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class.
