Sweet As Pie 2 Day Workshop
Gather together, give thanks, and eat pie! Bring your embroidery machine for this 2 day workshop where we will assemble Kimberbell's Sweet as Pie Bench Pillow. It is a feast for the eyes, with delectable colors and delightful techniques and finishes at 16" X 38".
In this workshop, you will be able to work with a variety of fabric and specialty machine embroidery techniques. Create pie filling with fabric and iron-on vinyl, then top with a lattice crust of Embroidery Felt. Silver Embroidery Leather adds metallic shine to the mixer and pie tins, while Flexi Foam gives puffy dimension to dollops of cream. Add pies of Orange Spice Velveteen, attach cinnamon sticks of brown Embroidery Leather, and create a "wooden" cork rolling pin!
This entire project can be completed with a 5in x 7in hoop.
PLEASE NOTE: Your embroidery machine will need to support a USB drive for file transfer and a 5in x 7in hoop to complete this project. If you would like to use one of our shop machines for this project, please contact our Education Director via email at education@mrsewingmachine.com to ensure availability before registration.
