Mastering Knits on your Serger
Spandex, Swimwear, cotton knits, and French Terry Fleece - in this class, you will master all of them! In addition, you will be guided through creating your first t-shirt on a serger for practice.
In this class, you will be provided with samples of each fabric type and will learn how to adjust your tensions and differential feed on your serger for stitching each type. After, you will practice this new skill to serger your first garment - the Briar T-Shirt. In class, we will review the pattern and start on the cutting out the pattern.
Due to the fact that you will need to pre-wash your fabric, we will not be able to start stitching the Briar T-Shirt in class.
This class was designed specifically for Baby Lock sergers. You are welcome to bring another brand of serger to this class but you will need to bring your user manual and the proper attachments for creating a flatlock stitch and a cording foot. Without the proper attachments, there is no guarantee we will be able to cover the curriculum on your specific serger. If this is the case, you will have the option to use one of our sergers to complete the class curriculum.

Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Any cancellations on the day of the class cannot be refunded or transferred. |
