Ruffled Apron with a Serger
Sergers are great for finishing edges but they are also amazing for ruffling edges. Learn how to gather and how to use a ruffling foot then practice these skills while creating a ruffled apron.
In this class, you will learn how to use the serger differential feed and how to use a serger ruffling foot. After, you will practice this new skill to serger your first piece - a Ruffled Apron.
This class was designed specifically for Baby Lock sergers. You are welcome to bring another brand of serger to this class but you will need to bring your user manual, ensure it features a differential feed, and a ruffling foot. Without the proper attachments, there is no guarantee we will be able to cover the curriculum on your specific serger. If this is the case, you will have the option to use one of our sergers to complete the class curriculum.
PLEASE NOTE: Your serger will need to have a ruffling foot to complete this project. If you would like to use one of our shop machines for this project, please contact our Education Director via email at education@mrsewingmachine.com to ensure availability before registration.
