Intro to Sewing, Part 1: Machine Basics
There are so many good reasons to sew today - for relaxation, for expressing your unique creativity, for creating handmade art, or simply to save money. But, where do you start? Here!
If you have been wanting to learn the basics about using a sewing machine, this class is for you. You will learn your way around the sewing machine, including how to wind the bobbin, thread the machine and sewing using a seam allowance. You will also create your first sewing project while learning these skills. This class will build a foundation that will take your sewing where ever you want to go!
If you own a sewing machine, we recommend you to bring it to class so you can learn the ins and outs specific to your particular machine. If you do not own a sewing machine, we have a Baby Lock sewing machine available for use.
