Intro to Sewing
There are so many good reasons to sew today - for relaxation, for expressing your unique creativity, for creating handmade art, or simply to save money. But, where do you start? Here!
In this class, you will build a foundation that will take your sewing where ever you want to go! Learn about your sewing machine, sewing tools, fabric and notions. We will practice how to wind a bobbin, properly thread your machine, and basic sewing skills. And, you’ll create an envelope pillow cover to put all your new skills into practice.
If you own a sewing machine, we recommend you to bring it to class so you can learn the ins and outs specific to your particular machine. If you do not own a sewing machine, we have a Baby Lock sewing machine available for use.| Skill Level: | Beginner |

Cancellation Policy A Student may cancel a class registration via email (education@mrsewingmachine.com) or by phone at 214-358-3549. Cancellations with more than 3 days prior notice may request a full refund. Cancellations received 1 - 3 days before the class will receive credit towards another class. Any cancellations on the day of the class cannot be refunded or transferred. |
