Intro to Machine Embroidery, Part 1: Stabilizer and Hooping Basics

Learn the basics of how to use your embroidery machine, proper stabilizers, and best hooping technique to ensure your next job is a success.

In this class, you will learn the basics of machine embroidery to help you get started on your embroidery machine. You will learn about the basic tools used in machine embroidery from threads, snips, and stabilizers. You will work through three different projects to learn the proper stabilizer and hooping techniques for working with cotton fabric, stretch fabric, and terry cloth.

Although optional, it is encouraged you bring your own embroidery machine, so you are able to have hands-on practice on your machine. If you would like to use one of our floor model embroidery machines, please email us at education@mrsewingmachine.com in advance of the class with your request.
